The award-winning (and groundbreaking) Homefront knife from the CRKT and designer, Ken Onion was a home run in 2016. In 2017, CRKT is expanding the Homefront line with three new knives, all with the same Field Strip technology as the original. Like the original Homefront knife, the three new knives can easily be “field stripped” or broken down into three pieces without the aid of tools. If you’ve not had the opportunity to play with these frame-locking knives, the technology and design is quite impressive. You can break it down in seconds, clean it, and put it back, with almost no loss of action whatsoever.

Along with the original Homefront knife, CRKT now offers an EDC version, a Tactical Tanto version, and a Hunter version of the Homefront. Let’s look at each of them a little more closely.
