If you’re looking for a small, lightweight knife that looks good and works well, the Buck BHW Bantam just might be the knife for you. The Bantam is only 3.75” closed and features incredibly light (but durable) injection-molded handles that come in many different styles and variations. For this article we chose the Kryptec Typhoon Camo version, because – well – we thought it looked pretty darn cool.

The 2.75” 420 HC stainless steel blade is sharp right out of the box and will not dull quickly. It’s small, agile and works well as an everyday carry. Buck tells us, “These sleek, lightweight knives feature thumb studs on both sides of the blade for easy one hand opening and a mid-lockback location for smooth closing.” When Buck says lightweight, they mean it. The Bantam weighs in at only 1.4 ounces.
