The Kershaw Vedder has a lot going on – the latest in handle design queues, unique blade shape, and Kershaw’s most popular standard features. This is a cutting-edge (no pun intended) workhorse that won’t disappoint.

I really love how the steel handles stand out from anything else you might come across with other brands. Kershaw made them out of Titanium-Carbo-Nitride coated steel with a unique matte grey pitted design. Kershaw then crafted a black 3D-machined G-10 overlay to contrast the texture and finish of the handle itself. You can hardly distinguish the frame lock from the rest of the handle, because it’s just so patterned. This look is certainly different, but there’s no question that it it’s appealing.

The mechanical side of the Vedder is just as impressive as the handles. Kershaw designed this knife with a Cr13MoV blade that’s razor sharp right out of the box and still allows for easy re-sharpening. The Vedder uses Kershaw’s popular SpeedSafe assisted-opening mechanism, and a simple pull of the flipper opens the blade – smooth and crisp every time.
