The long awaited resurrection of the Spyderco SpyderHawk Salt Sprint Run with orange FRN handles is now available as a unique, never to be repeated sprint run. Spyderco maintained the most beloved features of this knife – the fully serrated hawkbill and trademark Spyderco Round Hole, while improving it in a couple of ways: New rust-proof steel and a brand new handle color.
First and foremost, Spyderco upgraded the steel from VG-10 to H1. This makes the SpyderHawk salt 100% rust proof. Additionally the remarkably slip resistant, fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle now has a vibrant, bright orange color. This lets your knife stand out even in settings with decreased visibility (e.g., it’s harder to lose your knife). Finally, the Spyderco SpyderHawk Salt also features a fully ambidextrous black titanium, tip up pocket clip. All of these features combined create a tough knife that is lightweight, slip resistant, easy to carry, and highly visible.
