Case XX CG01The very first Case flipper is now in stock and ready to ship.  The Case XX CG01 Flipper was made in Peachtree City by Southern Grind in collaboration with Case. It debuted at Blade Show 2018.

Zac Brown – founder of Southern Grind – stated, “Our philosophy as a company is to build…tools that add value every day. Our approach to making knives is complimentary to theirs (Case). I love knowing that I’m supporting an American company and we’re excited to align with them.”  This collaboration between Southern Grind and Case appears to be potentially an ongoing endeavor as the name of the knife is an acronym of C (Case) G (Grind) 01 – first project. This implies the Case XX CG will possibly be a series. We certainly hope so.

Case XX CG01The Case XX CG01 features S35VN stonewash stainless steel in either a 3.5” drop point or a 3.375” tanto point.  The collaboration between the two companies is most apparent on the blade of these knives.  It has Case etched branding just below the really nice jimping on the spine of the blade that you’d expect from Southern Grind.

The handles are available in either black or red anodized aluminum in each blade profile – either tanto or drop point. These knives also feature an ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip and a lanyard hole.
