At the 2018 Blade show, KA-BAR announced the release of its first flipper, the KA-BAR Mark 98. It is now in stock and ready to ship.
This flipper was designed to be an every day carry, heavy duty knife that was affordable for almost everyone. Best of all, this fantastic new addition to the KA-BAR family is a budget blade that is priced at only $20.
The Mark 98 features a hollow ground 3.5” 5Cr15Mov stainless steel spear point with a black coating. The exceptionally large fuller lightens the blade significantly and is a fantastic a nod at their famous USMC Fighting Knife.
The handles black and brown G-10 mounted on stainless steel liners. It also has a finger groove and is contoured for easy indexing. This knife also features a sturdy linerlock and a reversible tip-up or tip-down pocket clip.
