A Sinkevich designed flipper from Kershaw? For less than $40? Yes, indeed. Kershaw released the Kershaw Concierge, a manual flipper designed by Dmitry Sinkevich. It’s the perfect size. It’s lightweight, and the action is straight up amazing. It’s everything you love about a ZT Sinkevich flipper at a fraction of the price.

First, let’s talk about the pocket clip. It’s an odd thing to talk about first, but it was the first thing that caught our eye. It’s a tip up, deep carry, right side only, recessed pocket clip. The deep carry is always nice. We’re righties, so lack of ambidextrous capacity doesn’t bother us. However, our first thought on seeing the thin, recessed design was, “Oh no, that’s going to be a pain!” We discovered that not only was it not a pain, it was seriously fantastic! It attached to your pocket quickly and easily, and it didn’t snag a bit.  If you don’t want to use the pocket clip, you can throw it in your pocket without the clip becoming a nuisance because of the recessed design.

The 3.25” 8Cr13MoV modified drop point has a slight recurve. Additionally, it’s titanium carbo-nitride coated. This means it will take and hold an edge while increasing the blades hardness and corrosion resistance.

Featuring KVT ball bearings, the opening is exactly as fast and smooth as you think it would be. Once deployed, the blade is held in place with a liner lock.

The attractive pivot adds a touch of elegance to the hard-use G-10 handles. The Kershaw Concierge has an outstanding hand feel. Indexing is simply incredible with this knife. It’s simple and easy to use.

Finally, the light weight and the overall size of this knife are perfect.  At a mere 4.3 ounces, it won’t weigh you or your pockets down. The 4.25” closed length is perfect for smaller pockets.
