The CRKT Terrestrial is an all-around great knife. It has a fast, smooth action, and it’s comfortable in the hand. Overall, it’s a solidly built knife that we believe lives up to its marketing.

CRKT tells us that designer Eric Ochs “was determined to deck [the Terrestrial] out with details. That’s just what he did with this otherworldly everyday carry, starting with the eye-catching blade shape. Though the basic form stays true to a traditional spear point, the blade touts a harpoon feature on the spine, adding serious depth and elevating its utility by providing a solid thumb rest.”

The 3.35” 8Cr13MoV spear point blade deploys via an easily accessed manual flipper. The action is fantastic thanks to the IKBS ball bearing pivot. The blade locks firmly into place with a liner lock.

The G-10 handles are big enough to be comfortable and are slip resistant. This knife also features a tip-up pocket clip.
