Morakniv Garberg Black CarbonDid you know that the Morakniv Garberg also comes in a carbon steel blade? The Morakniv Garberg Black Carbon is a bushcrafting/survival knife that is now available with a carbon steel blade. Mora tells us, “Morakniv Garberg is a powerful full tang knife, designed to withstand the toughest challenges imaginable. Its blade is 3.2 mm thick and made of high quality carbon steel, specially treated in our factory to make it even stronger.”

The black coated 4.125” carbon steel clip point blade has a Scandi grind and a ground 90-degree spine. Because it’s carbon steel, you can start a campfire with either your fire starter or a flint stone by striking the back of the knife. Additionally, carbon steel makes this knife easy to sharpen in the field.

The molded polymer handle is slip resistant. It also has a lanyard hole for security. At the butt of the knife is an exposed tang, which makes for a handy makeshift hammer. Finally, the Morakniv Garberg Black Carbon is available with either the standard black leather sheath with a belt loop attachment or with their multimount system.
