Rough Ryder New Orleans Belt RazorRough Ryder is well known for providing a great knife for the price. The new Rough Ryder New Orleans Belt Razor is one of their latest offerings. It’s an interesting take on a classic hunter’s knife you can get for about $20. Long curvy handle scales meet a straight-edge, blunt-tip blade, resulting in a nice all-purpose fixed blade.

The Belt Razor features a 4.5”, 440A stainless steel razor-style blade with a rounded tip and what appears to be a chisel grind. The overall shape along with its long straight cutting edge makes it a good choice for a general outdoors knife or as a hunting blade. The full tang features a curved integral finger guard to protect your digits, even if you happen to be an overly enthusiastic chopper.

It has black, contoured G-10 handle scales with a skinny neck that rounds out to a bulbous butt. For looks, this knife has brass pins and red liners as well as a decorative pin that gives it a great look. It also has a lanyard hole with a knotted leather lanyard already attached. It’s carried with a two-tone leather belt sheath with a snap closure.
