Designed by Curtis Iovito – co-founder and co-owner Spartan Blades – the Spartan Blades Zelos is both solid and sexy. This out-the-side push button automatic feels fantastic in the hand and opens with absolute authority.
The Zelos features a 3.25” CPM S35VN drop point blade with 58-59 HRC. It’s black PVD coating and has a blade thickness of 0.153”. There’s also a well-done thump ramp and some seriously sleek lines.
The anodized 6061 aluminum handles come in either blue or black. Both models have blackout hardware and a matte finish. It has a reversible tip-up/tip-down carbon fiber pocket clip and lanyard hole. Not only does this beast have a seriously strong opening, the lock up is rock solid. It also has a secondary safety switch for added in-pocket security. It’s 4.75” closed and weighs about 4.6 ounces.
