Kershaw TumblerDesigned by Dmitry Sinkevich, how could the Kershaw Tumbler not be a beautiful knife? It’s based on his custom Headly, and Kershaw has done a great job turning that beautiful custom into a beautiful production pocketknife. Not only that, but while the price tag on the custom Headly runs in the thousands of dollars, the MSRP on the Kershaw production model is about $110. The street price on the Tumbler runs about $69. But, for a limited time and while supplies last, you can pick up the Tumbler for a discounted price of about $48. Let’s take a look at it.

The Kershaw Tumbler is a manual flipper that runs on KVT bearings for a fantastic action. It has a 3.25” D2 drop point with a dual finish and a blade thickness of about 0.12”. One of the things we love about this are the grinds. The satin flats and stonewash grinds on this drop point at first glance look like the upswept blade which is, of course, an iconic look for Sinkevich.

Kershaw TumblerThe contoured and machined handle on this Sub-Frame lock also have that distinctive Sinkevich flair with bumps and curves that look like they’re might be uncomfortable but, instead, feel great in hand. Kershaw tells us, “The handle is G10 with a top layer of carbon fiber. The top layer isn’t just glued on; it is an integrated part of the G10 material so it’s incredibly durable. Kershaw machines the carbon fiber like the original Headly for amazing style.” Additional touches that elevate this knife to a thing of beauty include a decorative pivot and backspacer.

In addition to it’s gorgeous looks, the Tumbler is also a full-sized daily carry that’s incredibly pocket friendly. It has an ambidextrous, tip-up deep carry pocket clip and lanyard slot. It’s a slim profile with a handle thickness of just under a half inch. It’s 4.5” closed and weighs about 2.6 ounces.
