ProTech TR4 CPM D2 steel limited editionProTech is almost always on the top of everyone’s list when it comes to automatic knives and there’s more than a collector or three of this brand. There’s wondering why, either. They make a heck of a knife with a fantastic action out of quality materials. The ProTech TR4 CPM D2 limited edition is no exception. We’re absolutely positive it will sell out quickly so make sure you get yours before it’s gone.

The TR4 CPM D2 LTD features a 4” CPM D2 drop point blade. With CPM D2, Crucible takes the ordinarily excellent performing D2 and puts it through the powder metallurgy process. This results in a finer, cleaner grain which provides a lot more strength in your blade. Oh, and it also means this steel is just as USA-made as the rest of this knife.

ProTech TR4 CPM D2 steel limited editionThis knife has black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles with a nice feel in the hand and just enough slip resistance. One of the nice touches on this out-the-side automatic is that the push button has a mother-of pearl inlay which seriously dresses it up. For added safety it has a secondary safety slide to prevent accidental pocket openings. It also comes with a lanyard slot in the hardened stainless-steel back spacer as well as a glass breaker pommel. Finally, it comes with a black anodized right carry tip-up pocket clip as well as a MOLLE compatible nylon sheath. It’s 5.25” closed and weighs 5.5 ounces.
