Benchmade 575-1 Mini Presidio IIOriginally released in 2018, the 575 has been an incredibly popular knife for Benchmade. With the Benchmade 575-1 Mini Presidio II, they’ve made this knife a bit lighter and a bit sturdier.

The 575-1 features black CF-Elite handles. This is the same handle material they used on this year’s Bugout and we quite like it. It has a grippy texture that isn’t abrasive but simply feels good in the hand. Additionally, it just feels solid in hand. The original 575 had a carry weight of 3.99 ounces. The new 575-1 weighs about 3.19 ounces. That means the CF-Elite handles cut the weight by almost a full ounce. Combined with an ambidextrous, deep carry, tip-up pocket clip and lanyard hole, this knife is both lefty and super pocket friendly.

Pretty much everything else stays the same with this knife. It’s an AXIS lock with ambidextrous thumb studs. It has a 3.2” CPM S30V stainless steel drop point blade with a blade thickness of 0.114” hardened to 58-60 HRC. At 0.56” the handle thickness is just over a half inch. It’s 4.34” closed and 7.48” overall.
