Condor TrelkenDesigned by world renowned survivalist and bushcrafter Walter A. Matthews, the Condor Trelken is a hunting knife with a thin, flexible, full-tang blade with a simple, straight forward style. You can pick up this budget friendly fixed blade for about $45.

The Trelken features a 3.5” 420HC straight back blade with a polished finish and a blade thickness of 0.06”. There’s a bit of flex to the blade which helps it excel as a hunting or fishing knife. Along the spine of the knife are ridges that could easily double as a descaler.

The full tang hickory handles have red underliners secured with brass rivets. The handle length is about 3.79” which gives plenty of room for a good, four-finger grip. It has a finger guard for added security and is contoured for comfort. It has a generous lanyard tube for accessories. It comes with an embossed, hand-crafted welted leather sheath with a belt loop attachment. It’s 7.29” overall and weighs 3.53 ounces.
