The J E Made Combustion is a beautiful modern slipjoint. It’s super snappy with solid half stops and features high-end materials and an almost flawless build. Basically, it’s a great looking, high quality knife.

This knife has a 3.5” satin finished S35VN drop point blade with a blade thickness of about 0.125”. Instead of a nail nick opener, it opens with thumb hole cut out. This cut out gives you enough traction to provide an easy open with a pinch grip. Said opening is frankly solid, and it has very clearly defined half stops that land just about perfectly. It has a swedged spine with contrasting grind marks that give it a fantastic look.

It has a titanium frame with inlaid carbon fiber or micarta handle scales. It features a modern, screw construction and a titanium tip-up pocket clip as well as a generous lanyard hole. The forward finger choil and the integral finger allows a nice grip. The frame and backspacers feature a flawless, almost glass-smooth finish. The overall fit and finish on this knife is seriously superb. The closed length on this knife is 4.25”, and it weighs 3.56 ounces.
