Case Tony Bose Bullnose Trapper2019 Case Tony Bose Bullnose Trapper 6.5 Bonestag

2020 took a lot of great people from us, including Hall of Fame Knifemaker, Tony Bose. He will be sorely missed in the traditional custom knife world, and this Bullnose Trapper is among the very last of the Case Tony Bose collaboration knives.

2019 marked the 20th year of Case’s collaboration with the late Hall of Fame Knifemaker, Tony Bose. This pattern was inspired by a large, two-bladed field knife Tony first saw 45 years ago. The Case Bullnose Trapper features flat taper ground, satin finish 154-CM stainless steel blade with a 6.5 BoneStag handle.

This is a classically styled folder with a 3.75″ drop point blade and a 3.75″ spey blade. The bolsters and obverse side shield are stainless steel. Only 1,000 total were made between the five handle materials; Brown Jigged Bone, Jigged Chestnut Bone, Ebony, Abalone and this version, Bone Stag. It’s 4.5″ closed and weighs about 6.3oz. Each knife comes in a padded leather case.
