I’ve carried a Kershaw Knives Chive for years now. I love its assisted-opening speed and its size. It just fits well in my pocket and works like a charm on most daily tasks. Of course, I’d gladly take another Kershaw any time you want to give me one, especially at Christmas time. Here are a few knives that could easily make this a Kershaw Knives Christmas.
The Kershaw Knives Knockout got its name when Kershaw “knocked out” a piece of the aluminum handle and inset a stainless-steel plate to create a subframe lock. You get the lightweight benefits of anodized aluminum handles and the strength of a steel frame lock with an integral lockbar. This 8″ assisted-opener makes a nice EDC. It’s lightweight, strong, fast, and easy to carry.
Features: Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade. Ambidextrous thumb studs. SpeedSafe assisted-opening mechanism with blade flipper. 6061-T6 anodized aluminum olive green handle. Stainless steel sub-frame lock. Lanyard hole. Quad-Mount deep carry pocket clip. 3-1/4″ blade. Blade thickness: 1/8″. 4-5/8″ closed. 8″ Overall. Made in the USA.

Item Number: KS1660TEAL $59.99
We know Ken Onion’s Kershaw Leek has been on the market for a while, but we don’t care. It’s still one of the fastest, sleekest EDC knives on the market, and we never get tired of touching that flipper just enough to make it spring open.

The Kershaw Scallion is another one of Ken Onion’s tried and true designs. We added this to our wish list because of the lowered price. It’s now available for only $27.99, which is a major steal.
The Scallion is about 20% larger than the Chive and perfect for just about anything! The frame lock 410 stainless steel handles are bead blast finished as is the 420HC blade (plain). This SpeedSafe assisted-opening knife features a dual thumb studs and a flipper for easy one-handed operation.

This Kershaw Shuffle DIY is really a knife and a tool kit all in one. It features a bit driver and two screwdriver bits, plus a jump ring along and a cap lifter. While it’s not an assisted-opener, at $24.99, it’s really a handy pocketknife to have around.

And then there’s this Kershaw Knives Grinder. It’s under $20 and really a nice EDC you don’t have to worry about losing. The Grinder offers a blade with a slightly curved belly for all-purpose cutting and slicing. The clipped, tanto-inspired blade style offers excellent piercing capabilities. The concave spine with heavy jimping provides additional grip security if you need to really bear down on a tough job.
With SpeedSafe assisted-opening technology, the Grinder is fast (go figure). A secure liner lock keeps the blade securely open during work until the user releases it.
