We’ve mentioned the Gerber Spine was available for pre-order. However, we failed to mention its slightly smaller sibling the Gerber Vertebrae is also available for pre-order, with an expected arrival date of July. It’s everything you like in the Spine, just a little smaller.
The Gerber Vertebrae features a 2.4” 7Cr17MoV drop point with a satin finish. With its full tang construction, the Vertebrae was designed to be a small, low maintenance knife for hikers and backpackers who don’t want their knives to take up much space in their gear. Additionally, it will take and hold an edge without a ton of effort and will take a bigger than expected beating.
The rubberized handles come in either a bright cyan or sage green. These handles are incredibly comfortable and have been designed to be slip resistant under even the most challenging situations. This knife also comes with a sturdy GNF sheath with a belt clip, and a lanyard hole.
