Ucon, Idaho – TOPS Knives has released the new TOPS Knives Operator 7. This new 12.5″ fixed blade features a 1075 Carbon Steel blade that is 7.25″ long and nearly a third-of-an-inch thick (.31″). TOPS says, “Classic American “fighting” knife aesthetics create the basis for the Operator 7. TOPS went big with thick steel and handles to make a hefty, well-balanced knife that will excel as a workhorse tool.”
The Operator 7, which comes with a fitted black kydex sheath (with a dangle attachment), is an excellent addition to the already beefy TOPS lineup. And while it’s beefy, it’s also comfortable. TOPS tells us, “Because it is a tool, it’s also got to be comfortable. The rounded handles and hand guard make it a joy to use, and the finger choil allows the user to get great precision for finer cuts.”
