We’ll wait while you look at the Hoback Kwaiback fixed blade. Is that not one of the most badass looking knives you’ve ever seen in your life? It’s a small batch, American made knife that looks like it’s just itching to stab a fool. Since we seem to be in a stab-a-fool/whack-a-package kind of mood, this is today’s practically perfect knife. It has some seriously gorgeous lives and we love almost everything about it from its chunky-yet-thin micarta handle to its almost-upswept Tanto tip.
The Hoback Kwaiback Fixed Blade features a 5” S35VN tanto blade with a blade thickness of about 0.15” and a black Fallout finish. There’s aggressive jimping along the spine and an integral finger guard. The grinds on this blade are just sweet.
The brown natural canvas micarta handles are mounted on a full tang and have deep grooves for a sure grip. The handle thickness is just over a half inch, making this knife slenderer and more discreet than you’d expect. It comes with a Kydex sheath with either belt loop attachments for horizontal carry or a belt clip for vertical carry. It’s 9.64” overall and weighs just under 5 ounces.
