Bear and Son 110 SlipjointWant an affordable modern slipjoint that’s made in the USA and available in all the colors of the rainbow? Look no further than the Bear and Son 110 slipjoint. It’s a sturdy USA-made knife with a smooth easy opening that you can get for $20. Seriously. It’s awesome.

The Bear 110 slipjoint has a 2.375” high carbon, stainless steel drop point blade with a blade thickness of about 0.09” and a flat grind. It opens with an easily accessed hollow nail nick (or slot) and that opening is smooth and easy. It also has an easy open cutout in the anodized aluminum handles which just increases the accessibility of this knife.

As we said up there, the anodized aluminum handles come in all the colors. We’re partial to the blue one. It also features screw construction rather than the more traditional pins. They have a tip-down pocket clip and the backspacer wraps around the butt end of the knife to form a sturdy lanyard slot for accessories. At just under 2 ounces and 3.875” closed, these fabulous modern slipjoints practically disappear in the pocket.
