I’ve heard the mantra so many times in the last fiver years that it becomes easy to predict. It goes something like this, “I collect Case knives but I carry a Rough Rider.” And frankly, I believe them. Why on earth would I carry a hundred-dollar Case knife that I could lose or destroy in the process, when I can carry a quality, traditional pocketknife that cost me a tenth of that price but looks and feels just as good?
