I’ve heard the mantra so many times in the last fiver years that it becomes easy to predict. It goes something like this, “I collect Case knives but I carry a Rough Rider.” And frankly, I believe them. Why on earth would I carry a hundred-dollar Case knife that I could lose or destroy in the process, when I can carry a quality, traditional pocketknife that cost me a tenth of that price but looks and feels just as good? The short answer is this. If your EDC is a traditional pocketknife, then Rough Rider is a great way to go, and you simply cannot beat the quality for the price point.
If you’ve never had the opportunity to handle or use a Rough Rider, we suggest you give it a try. There’s a lot of great patterns and styles out there to choose from, and the quality is top-notch. Rough Rider has been making quality pocketknives for more than 20 years, and it shows. Here’s a few we can suggest for Christmas.
