Since I’ve gotten into knives as a hobby, there has always been one knife that I’ve wanted to own. The thing that attracts people to the Tops Wild Pig Hunter is the size-to-weight ratio. Most of the time, larger knives aren’t used for bushcrafting because the extra weight leads to fatigue and loss of energy. The Wild Pig Hunter is a large 7.5” spear point, but it only weighs a mere .88lbs. The large 1095 high carbon blade makes it capable of batoning wood, clearing a trail, or even hunting, but it’s so light that it won’t weigh you down on long hikes.

The handles of the Wild Pig Hunter are designed to be rugged and ready for extreme situations. The full tang is ergonomic with comfortable finger groves that just fit the hand amazingly. The handle scales are durable, triple-screwed micarta with a Rocky Mountain tread pattern that provides excellent grip. it even features a multi-purpose, paracord lanyard to keep your knife secure while cutting. Tops did a great job making a trail ready kit from the moment it’s in your possession.

The Wild Pig Hunter comes with a beautifully crafted leather sheath embossed with the Tops logo. It’s double-stitched for durability and features a tab for a paracord leg strap. The knife is very secure in its sheath and won’t get away from you no matter how you chose to carry or mount it, and It comes with the traditional Tops survival whistle and a certificate of authenticity, with warranty and care information.
