Yes, here’s another Crappie knife story about a whole bunch of Crappie knives. I’ve had these Crappie knives in front of me all morning. It’s literally enough to make anyone eel. And while we normally review the normal kettle of fish blades, today we’ve got some blades that might seem like fish out of water. Buck and Crappie fishermen, Wally Marshall (aka Mr. Crappie) have joined together (like a school of fish) on a series of filet knives that could even please an old trout like my boss.
These filet knives are far from bottom feeders with their durable 420HC stainless blades. They made these blades extremely flexible on porpoise, and they’re full tang, so they hold up when you find yourself in troubled waters.
Buck doesn’t need to fish for complements with this series. Their trailing point blade includes a secondary piercing edge, which makes it very effective at slicing. They’re reely high quality. Filleting your fish will be so easy, you won’t even mullet over. You can get it done on the way back to the dock (if you haven’t been drinking like a fish, of course).
The handles are molded nylon with a grip material and don’t feel gutted when compared to the quality blade. Their comfort and ergonomics are great, so your hands won’t get battered after hours of pain in the bass cutting. The sheaths are injection molded with drain holes, and they’re so easy to keep clean and dry that your piers will be jealous.
All of the Buck Mr. Crappie knives come with lanyard hole, so your knife will never be the one that got away.

I’ve had it up to the gills with Crappie knife puns for Cod’s sake. They say you must lose a fly to catch a trout, so it might be time to give up your old crusty filet knife and get hooked on one of these quality Buck Mr. Crappie knives. Reel one of these in today at Smoky Mountain Knife Works (smkw.com). Don’t worry. There’s nothing fishy about clicking the link below to find them.
