Fox-n-Hound makes those traditional style knives that just feel like a mountain home. They use traditional patterns and materials reminiscent of the old days. I’ve come across the Fox-n-Hound Mini Hunters for under $20.00 and was impressed from the moment I laid hands on them.
The Mini Hunters have two blade materials to choose from. You can have Damascus or just a good stainless steel. The Mini Hunters feature a 3 ¼” full tang, reverse tanto blade. It becomes a comfortable finger guard at the base, and it fit my large hands perfectly.
The handles are a stacked stag and wood. It has a great traditional vibe to it that is accented by the brass pins holding each section together. The handle has a good contour to it that just makes it feel nice in the hand. Fox-n-Hound really put the icing on the cake for the traditional vibe with the included leather sheath, and they function as good as they look.
