The Rough Rider Copper Ridge Series of traditional pocketknives drew inspiration from old-time moonshiners. The series features genuine jigged buffalo bone handles adorned with copper bolsters and pins, as well as rose copper titanium coated 440A stainless steel blades. The Copper Ridge Series will start conversations for sure, and with a price tag of under $15, they just can’t be beat. Rough Rider included eight patterns in the Copper Ridge Series, including the Baby Trapper, Large Stockman, Large Trapper, Congress, Mini Trapper, Pen Knife, Large Lockback, and Medium Stockman Patterns. We think there’s a little something for everyone here.
We also note that Rough Rider fills the void left by Colt knives by introducing magnetic clasp display boxes. The Copper Ridge Series box includes a platform and a story to go along with the series.
Each knife in the series features true half-stops in all the blades – a tradition worth keeping in a quality slipjoint knife, as well as some pretty amazing fit and finish. We found almost no defects in the samples we were sent for review.
