In a world of $50 assisted-openers, the Combat Ready Linerlock is a fairly good one for less than $8. We were actually surprised by the build quality and action of this knife. If you’re looking for a decent, inexpensive assisted-opener, this knife might be the knife for you.
The 2.5″, 440A stainless steel drop point blade features an acid wash finish, ambidextrous thumb studs, and thumb ridges. Beyond that, the action on this thumb-stud opener is swift and powerful – far more powerful than we thought it might be. With a flick of the thumb stud, it snaps into place hard and fast.
This knife also features durable coyote tan, G10 handle scales with steel liners and a sturdy liner-locking mechanism. The handle is rounded out with a lanyard hole, if you’re into that sorta thing, as well as a tip-down stainless steel pocket clip.
