Designed by rancher/designer Richard Rogers of Magdalena, New Mexico, the CRKT Maven has a clean and straightforward design that is perfect for every day carry. CRKT tells us, “Designer Richard Rogers lives on a working cattle ranch. His toughest critic is a cowboy and his field values no frills. So when he set out to make a reliable everyday carry knife, he vowed to keep it simple. The result: The Maven. Understated and designed to a T.”
The CRKT Maven features a 3.6” bead blast coated, 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, drop point blade. The handles are contoured black G-10 and feel perfectly comfortable in your hand. The fairly roomy first finger notch helps you keep your grip, even in less than pleasant weather.
Sporting CRKT’s IKBS ball bearing pivot mechanism, the action on the flipper opening is smooth and quick. The Linerlock mechanism helps keep everything locked in place during use.
