It’s boating season again, and we can’t wait to get out on the lake. A useful and inexpensive little knife to throw in your gear is the Meyerco Sailor’s Knife. At only $12.99 for the extra-large model or $8.99 for the smaller version, you won’t have to cry a river’s worth of tears if they get devoured by the water.
These knives come with all the features you’d expect out of a sailor’s knife. The extra-large version has a 3.25” partially serrated sheepsfoot blade. The smaller version has a 2.50″ plain edge sheepsfoot blade. This blade style is nice because it helps reduce the risk of accidentally stabbing yourself while you’re working with it.
They also have a marlin spike and a shackle key – useful for some of the gnarly knots that seem to occasionally happen for no apparent reason. The extra large model has a lanyard bail and a tip-up pocket clip. The smaller version has only the lanyard bail.
Finally, no sailor’s knife would be complete without a bottle opener, so they both also have one of those.
