There’s been a price drop on the Microtech Mini Jagdkommando line, with prices now starting at less than $410. If you’re a Microtech collector, or simply a fan of the unique Microtech design work, you won’t want to miss out on these knives.
Named for the Austrian Armed Special Forces Group, nothing screams tactical quite like the Microtech Jagdkommando, except perhaps the Microtech Mini Jagdkommando.
Originally designed as a request for a neck knife, this smaller version is easier to unobtrusively carry or conceal. Microtech tells us that, “Crafted from solid billet, the machining behind the Jagdkommando is almost as impressive as its functionality. Starting at the hollowed handle and watertight top, the machined grenade pattern of the handle transitions seamlessly into the three-edged blade, finally twisting to a deadly point.”
Each knife in this series features a solid, single piece construction of either Bohler stainless steel or 6AL-4V titanium. They all have a 4″, three-edged, sharpened blade that twists into a single point. The blade on these knives have fullers. This reduces the overall weight of the knife .
Finally, the machined grenade pattern handle is incredibly slip resistant. It features a screw on cap with a water tight seal. Much as you’d expect from a knife designed as a neck knife, these knives also feature a lanyard hole. The grenade patterned screw-on is made from durable 6061-T6.
