We’ve been curious about why Kershaw named this knife “Entropy” for almost two years now. We expect we’ll be wondering that for many years to come, because there’s literally nothing disorderly or unpredictable about this knife. It’s actually quite fantastic. Designed in collaboration with custom knifemaker Todd Rexford, the Kershaw Entropy is a great looking knife that practically disappears in your pocket. The design is simple and clean. As far as the functionality, it’s everything you love about a Kershaw knife. Best of all, it’s now available for less than $20.
This knife features a 3.25” 8Cr13Mov drop point with a stonewash finish. If you’ve handled a knife in the last decade or so, you’ve most likely encountered Kershaw’s SpeedSafe technology. Here at Knife Newsroom, we happen to be fans of it.
This knife is flipper activated SpeedSafe assisted opening. Once the blade is deployed, the blade is held in place with a Linerlock. It also has a black glass-filled nylon handle, so it will have a bit more slip resistance than a Leek. Finally, it also has a deep carry, ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip.
