The Benchmark LED Lockback has a stainless steel 3.25” modified clip point. There’s a significant amount of jimping along three quarters of the spine, and its 420 stainless steel blade is just as sharp as you’d expect an $8 knife to be.
The blade on this manual folder is deployed via easily accessed, ambidextrous thumb studs. Additionally, the blade locks in place with a surprisingly sturdy lock back. Interestingly, the lockback has a pretty smooth guillotine action – watch your fingers it will drop closed when depressed.
The rubberized composition handles are both comfortable and slip resistant. Housed in the body of the knife is an LED flashlight which operates on a lithium watch battery.
