Designed by Ken Onion, the CRKT Bombastic is one fantastic knife. Why is it called the Bombastic? Well, look at it. It looks like a WWII era bomb. It’s a vintage looking knife that looks cool and works great.
The real star of this show are the handles on this knife. The iconic shape is the first thing you notice. When you look a bit more, you see the incredible texture they’ve put into the GFN inlay on the stainless-steel handles. Add in the detailing on the bolsters, as well as the awesome pivot and this knife is total eye candy.
The CRKT Bombastic features a 3.311” 8Cr13MoV spear point, this knife is available with either a satin finish plain edge or a black-coated partially serrated edge. The blade opens with a flipper, and it the IKBS ball bearing pivot system for a fast and smooth opening.
The dual hilt keeps your digits intact. The sturdy Framelock locks the blade in place. Finally, it has a tip-down pocket clip.
