CRKT Du HocDesigned by Forged in War designer Austin McGlaun with the help of Ryan Johnson of RJM Tactical, the CRKT Du Hoc is a wicked karambit. Austin discovered nearly a half a century later that his late uncle won the Silver Star at Point Du Hoc during World War II.  This knife was designed to honor his uncle’s service.

The Du Hoc has a 5” SK5 carbon steel recurved blade. CRKT tells us, “SK5 high carbon steel with an increased level of manganese for a perfect balance of toughness and edge holding ability.” It also has an incredibly long cutting edge and a black powder coating. There’s jimping on the spine and a significant choil to ensure a secure grip.

The Du Hoc also features textured G-10 handles. The butt has a contoured thumb ring. Finally, this knife includes a customizable, gear compatible, glass-reinforced nylon sheath.
