At less than $100, the Smith and Sons Shrew is a great way to try a small production knife company without taking out a second mortgage. This small fixed blade would be great for either a neck knife or as a large pocket knife.
The Shrew has a 2.125” 1095 stonewashed blade with a satin finished spine. The blade shape is so interesting it almost defies description. It has a long slicing edge and an almost imperceptible drop point. All of this is brought together with an oversized choil.
The rugged G-10 handles are rounded for a great grip. It also has a lanyard hole and comes with a Kydex sheath. As an extra bit of awesomeness, when you buy a Smith and Sons knife, they offer free sharpening on their knives for life.
