These kits have all the components you need to make a unique antique straight razor, just like your great-grandpa might have used. They only cost about $10 so if you’ve an interest in either straight razors or a simply want a fun knife restoration project, these kits are great.

Registered in 1727, the Frieder. Herder spade symbol is the oldest trademark in Solingen and each kit comes with one of these unfinished, unsharpened antique Frieder. Herder carbon steel blades. Most likely made sometime between 1900 and 1945, the blade in the small kit is just over 2”, the blade in the large kit is just over 3”.

Both kits have either a white or black smooth bone handle with a contrasting, inlaid Herder symbol. It also comes with a single pin and two small washers to complete the assembly.
