The affordable and fast Ruike P671 has a front flipper. This opening method has significantly gained in popularity over the last couple of years. We weren’t sure how we felt about such things until we handled one for a bit. After several minutes of flipping, we liked it quite a bit. If you decide you’re still not in love with the front flipping action, you can always use the ambidextrous thumb studs.
Enabled by the ball bearing pivot system, the 2.76” 14C28N bead blast finished drop point has a swift and smooth opening. Once open, the razor-sharp blade securely locks in place with a liner lock.
It has stainless-steel liners with G-10 scales and a carbon fiber overlay. For slip resistance, there’s tons of jimping throughout. It also comes with a deep carry, tip-up pocket clip. The handles are about a half-inch, and it weighs about 3.6 ounces. All this means it’s an easy daily carry.
