Have you seen the Buck 840 Sprint Select flippers? These things are awesome. They’re fast opening, lightweight manual flippers. At about $40, these high quality, full sized knives are a great deal.
The 840 Sprint Select has a 3” 420HC drop point blade with a stonewash finish. It’s been expertly heat treated for outstanding hardness and durability. Thanks in part to the ball bearing pivot system, the manual flipper opening is both smooth and easy. Once open, it securely locks in place with a liner lock.
Mounted on stainless steel liners, the 840 Sprint Select features textured glass-reinforced fiber handles with a contrasting back spacer. It comes in black with a red back spacer, grey with a cobalt blue back spacer, and green with a yellow back spacer. There’s enough texturing to provide a good grip without the sort of abrasiveness that can be hard on your pocket. At just over 3 ounces, it’s also a light ride and has a removable, ambidextrous deep carry tip-up pocket clip.
