For sheer looks alone, the CRKT Avant is on our top ten list of favorite 2019 new releases from CRKT. With the carbon fiber handles and the bronze accents, it’s a relatively affordable, great looking knife.

The 3.2” 8Cr14MoV drop point has a satin finish. It opens with either a flipper or thumb plate assisted by CRKT’s IKBS ball bearing pivot. The handles are black weaved carbon fiber and G-10. This combo is great for keeping the overall weight of the knife down while maintaining overall durability.

The thing we like best about this knife though are the titanium-nitride coated accents. The pivot, thumb plate, and ambidextrous pocket clip are all coated to look bronze. That gives this knife the great and distinctive look we love.
