The Gerber Remix Tactical Folder is a versatile knife with a great grip that rides light in the pocket. The opening does take a bit of practice but at only $20, it’s worth the price.
The best part of this knife is the oversized finger hole pivot. The security of the grip is fantastic. Once you use the finger hole, you can wantonly and gleefully stab boxes open with nary a fear of slippage in sight.
The Remix has a 3” partially serrated tanto tip which exponentially increases it’s usefulness. It opens with a thumb plate. Once you and your knife work together for a bit, that opening is smooth and easy. Once open, it locks in place with a liner lock. It also has G-10 handles to give an even more slip resistant grip. Finally, it comes with a tip-up pocket clip.
