The Artisan Cutlery Hyperion is a recent release that’s got a lot going for it. A big clip point blade with premium steel and an overall classed-up profile make this one worth checking out.
It’s all about the great materials with this folder. It features an S35VN stainless steel blade with a satin finish. It’s a good-sized knife measuring right at 9″ overall. Like other Artisans, the Hyperion flips open on a ceramic ball bearing pivot assembly, so of course, it’s impeccably smooth. The blade sturdily locks with a framelock.
The Hyperion has titanium handles with sleek carbon fiber scales. It comes in a few different colors, including gray, black, green, and blue. Each has a tip-up, titanium pocket clip. The large bolsters and swell center look on the handles give this knife a sort of modern Barlow appearance, so it might just appeal to traditional fans as well.
