The Buck 345 Vantage Select Large is pretty much an ideal daily-carry knife. It’s under 8″ when opened, it’s absolutely smooth, and it’s lightweight. There are a few different versions available for around $30, too, which is not bad at considering how well this American-made folder performs.
This Vantage features a 3.25″ 420HC stainless steel drop point blade with a satin finish. As we said above, this knife is really smooth to open. It is opened manually with the thumb hole or the blade flipper. This knife has stainless liners and locks open with a linerlock. It has ergonomic injection-molded handle scales and a deep-carry, tip-up pocket clip.
