If you loved the look of the wildly popular Kershaw Launch 8 but it was a bit big for your tastes, you should absolutely check out the Kershaw Launch 12. It’s literally everything you loved about the Launch 8, it’s just a little smaller.
Designed by Matt Diskin, the Launch 12 is made in Tualatin, Oregon. It has a 2.5” CPM 154 spear point blade with a stonewash finish and a deep swedge along the spine which gives it an old-world look. The action on this push-button out the side automatic is just as fast and as powerful as you expect from a Kershaw automatic. The recessed button helps prevent accidental in-pocket openings.
The black anodized aluminum handle has integrated finger guards on both the top and bottom to protect your digits from possible injury, and it adds to that Italian stiletto look and a carbon fiber insert on the front handle to modernize it a bit. It also has an ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip. It’s 3.7” closed and weighs 1.9 ounces. That means this knife will practically disappear in your pocket.
