There’s been tons of interest in the OKC 7027 Old Hickory Bird and Trout since it was announced and we can see why. This USA-made fixed blade is the latest addition to OKC’s Old Hickory line up. It’s a small, super slicey and you can pick up it for about $23.
As we’ve said before, Old Hickory has been around for ages and eons. They’re highly customizable, reliable knives that will last for years. The new 7027 features a 3.4” carbon steel drop point blade with a satin finish that’s been hardened to 57-59 HRC. It has wood handles secured with brass rivets. It comes with a leather sheath with a belt loop attachment. It’s 6.9” overall, and the combined weight of both the knife and the sheath is about 2 ounces.
