If you missed out on the first part of the Kershaw 2021 lineup, you can find it right here. Let’s not waste a moment before diving into Part 2 of the Kershaw 2021 lineup. We’ve got another eight great new knives for you.
Kershaw Platform
Kershaw, we need to talk. With the Kershaw Platform, you dropped a great looking, modern “slipjoint folding knife with integrated nail clipper and file” info bomb in our laps with no info about when we can have it? Seriously, you can’t tease us like this, and please don’t make us go all Veruca Salt. We need Kershaw Platform is on our lives right now. This thing looks cool as heck. It has a 2.75” 8Cr13MoV sheepsfoot blade with a blade thickness of 0.108” and a bead blasted finish. The black GFN front handle has a ripple texture that looks both clean and classic. It’s a small, full tang fixed blade with a 2” 8Cr13MoV drop point blade with a stonewash finish and a blade thickness of 0.108”. Kershaw Drivetrain
We’re quite looking forward to seeing this one in the flesh. Kershaw tells us that with the new Drivetrain they’ve “….designed a new, hassle-free seatbelt cutter. It stays within the handle when not in use, but it can be easily deployed without any struggle. When time is of the essence, the handle naturally guides the seatbelt into the cutter, which locks into place with a liner. Kershaw rigorously tested this function to be our best seatbelt cutter yet. As a second option, responders can access the 3.2-inch blade quickly with SpeedSafe assisted opening.” It also comes with a glass breaker and a right carry, tip-up pocket clip. This linerlock has a 3.2” D2 recurved drop point blade. It’s 4.6” closed, 7.6” overall, and weighs 4.2 ounces.

It has a 2.9” D2 leaf shaped blade that quickly and smoothly opens with a SpeedSafe assisted flipper that rides on a KVT ball bearing pivot. When the knife is in the open position, the flipper is hidden away for an exceptionally comfortable grip. Kershaw Bracket
The inspiration is clear on the Kershaw Bracket. Kershaw tells us, “The Bracket is an XL version of the original Static cleaver. But rather than a simple size change, it has some fresh additions as well. A new G10 front handle scale is plenty grippy, and its steel pivot overlay adds visual interest. Functionally, the Bracket opens easily with SpeedSafe assisted opening.” This framelock has a 3.4” 8Cr13MoV cleaver blade with a generous forward finger choil. The handle thickness is 0.41”, and it has an ambidextrous, tip-up pocket clip and lanyard hole. It’s 4.4” closed, 7.75” overall, and weighs about 4.3 ounces.
