Pat Crawford of West Memphis, Arkansas notoriously designs knives with self defense in mind, and this ominous-looking CRKT Acquisition is no exception. CRKT tells us, “Bring along the Acquisition™ tactical knife, and you’ll acquire much more than a dependable everyday carry. It’s covert enough to keep on your person when things get scrappy, and beefy enough to mow over backcountry business.” CRKT is delivering two versions of the Crawford-designed Acquisition: Fixed and Folding. Here’s a first look.
The Acquisition Fixed Blade
As you can see in our demo video, the Acquisition not only looks sexy, it handles itself well and is sharp right out of the box. Note how easily it gets through double-thick corrugated cardboard and feathers/whittles pressure treated lumber.
