Video First Look at the CRKT Acquisition and Acquisition Folder

The Full Tang Acquisition tactical knife is just over 8″ long and weighs in at 4.5 ounces, and The 4″ modified drop point blade is black powder-coated 8Cr13MoV steel and .15″ thick. The uniqe glass-reinforced nylon handles ensure a steady grip. The CRKT Acquisition comes with gear-compatible sheath.

As you can see in our demo video, the Acquisition not only looks sexy, it handles itself well and is sharp right out of the box. Note how easily it gets through double-thick corrugated cardboard and feathers/whittles pressure treated lumber.

The CRKT Acuisition tactical folder is also just over 8″ when open but weighs in slightly more at 6.1 ounces. It has closed length of 4.855″ and the 3.326″ black powder-coated modified drop point blade is 8Cr14MoV steel. This liner lock is not an assisted opening knife, but the elongated flipper really gets the blade moving and serves as the perfect finger guard. It has the same handle material as the fixed blade version and comes a gear compatible sheath.

As you can see in our demo video, the Acquisition Folder has fast, accurate action in the flipper, and the blade locks solidly in place. It too handles itself well and is sharp right out of the box, getting through double-thick corrugated cardboard with no problem at all.  We noted that this knife feels light in the hand and is balanced really well.
