With the slightest glance, sci-fi fans will notice the famous bounty hunter inspiration on the Microtech Ultratech Bounty Hunter. If not in the overall styling, then in they’ll definitely see it in the highly distinctive skull logo etched on the tip-down pocket clip.
This Ultratech features a 3.5″ CTS-204P stainless steel tanto blade with Microtech’s Apocalyptic stonewash finish. It’s a double-action auto, so the red thumb slide is used to deploy the blade as well as bring it back in. Like others in the lineup, it has Microtech’s proprietary design that lets the firing spring rest when the blade is open or closed. That definitely reduces wear and tear on the internal parts.
The aluminum handles are decked out on this model with a green battle-scarred paint job which makes it resemble a well-used set of space armor. While this knife is brand new, it looks like it’s seen its fair share of combat. The pocket clip features a skull logo, date, and the individual serial number on each.
