Why would the Burnt Orange Morakniv Kansbol be a boost or better your bushcrafting game? Because you can find it if you drop it of course. It’s the same fantastic knife at the same reasonable price you’ve always loved. It’s merely a more visible burnt orange without being the basic bright orange.
The Burnt Orange Moraknive Kansbol has a 4.16” 12C27 stainless-steel clip point with a Scandi grind and a brushed, semi-matte finish. The blade thickness is 0.09” that tapers to 0.03” which allows the Kansbol to handle fine detail work as well as it does everything else around the camp. It has a 90-degree spine for use with a fire rod. It’s not only razor sharp straight out of the box, 12C27 is a corrosion resistant steel that easily takes an edge.
The rounded, burnt orange TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) handle is somewhat rubbery. This provides a comfortable, slip resistant grip. It comes with either a standard TPE belt loop sheath for about $34, or for about $16 more, you can upgrade to the MOLLE compatible multi-mount sheath. The knife itself weighs about 3.5 ounces. The knife with the sheath weighs about 5 ounces.
