The SGB Sierra Micarta features a 3.9” 1.4116 stainless steel drop point blade with a satin finish and a blade thickness of 0.15”. If you’ve ever wondered what the SGB stands for then wonder no more. PUMA tells us that the “PUMA SGB knives are made with Solingen, Germany sourced steel blades which are then assembled in Asia. Each blade is Rockwell tested to ensure hardness between 55 and 57 and bears the dot of a Rockwell proofmark.”
It’s has full tang construction with black micarta handle scales secured with brass pins. The brass bolsters and guard are accented by stacked black and stainless steel which looks just great. It has a brass lanyard tube for accessories and added security. It comes with a black ballistic nylon sheath with black leather accents and a belt loop attachment for vertical carry. It’s 8.75” overall and weighs 7.65 ounces.
